2018 Strengthening Families Trainings Host Partnership - Call for Proposals
NH Children's Trust is currently seeking proposals for local partners interested in bringing FREE “Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work” training series to their communities during 2018. Five strong local partners will be chosen to host the series at no cost to participants.
ABOUT STRENGTHENING FAMILIES:
The Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework identifies characteristics that, when present and robust in families, make families stronger and child abuse and neglect less likely to occur. These characteristics are called protective factors. The Framework also identifies actions that anyone whose work touches parents can employ to promote these protective factors.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT VALUE:
The Strengthening Families Framework is a part of the quality standards for both childcare professionals whose centers wish to pursue Licensed Plus and for family support and strengthening programs who wish to be designated as a Family Resource Center of Quality.
The training series meets continuing education requirements for:
- licensed mental health professionals
- board-certified Guardians ad Litem
- early care and education professionals
- licensed alcohol and other drug use professionals
- and others!
No matter the discipline, proficiency in the Strengthening Families Framework can increase the quality of the services provided to children and families as well as enhance the quality of life, in your community.
