3rd Annual Ride for Resilience
October 13, 2023!
Now an annual event connecting Family Resource Centers across the Granite State, NHCT’s Ride for Resilience highlights family strength and the many ways New Hampshire's network of support helps build individual, family, and community resiliency!
On October 13th, six riders hopped on their bicycles and pedaled 100 miles throughout NH's Lake's Region to raise awareness about the statewide resources available to all NH families.
Everyone plays a role in the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and we are so thankful for all the support that was shown for the 2023 Ride, which helped us raise awareness about all the great work being done throughout the state's network of Family Resource Centers!
Ride Founder and New Hampshire Children's Trust Board Member Mark Knights and fellow participants began their journey at Whole Village in Plymouth. Then they headed towards Lakes Region Community Services in Laconia, and Archways in Tilton and Franklin. The ride concluded in Plymouth for a celebratory gathering!
DATE: 10/13/23 MILES: 103
Mark Knights, founder of the Ride for Resilience, is a father, mentor, and dedicated Board member at NH Children’s Trust. He works as a partner at the law firm of Nixon Peabody and volunteers his time to assist family-serving agencies with child abuse and neglect proceedings.
He's excited that the ride is growing, and is committed to making it an annual rite of fall for families in the Granite State! We are proud to be associated with Mark's initiative to establish a charity ride benefiting the New Hampshire Children’s Trust, and his support of our mission to PREVENT child abuse and neglect and ensure safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children.
