NH FIDDLE ENSEMBLE
The NH Fiddle Ensemble Performs to Prevent Child Abuse
Fans of music and local performers of rock, folk, country, pop, Irish, swing, classical and cajun in addition to bluegrass will fill the Exeter Town Hall while raising money to prevent child abuse and neglect in NH.
“We are business owners, veterinarians, school teachers, IT people, pilots, students, nurses, retirees, accountants, counselors, writers, electricians, realtors, studio engineers, stonemasons, and so much more. Our youngest is eight years old and our oldest is 88.”
— Ellen Carlson, NH Fiddle Ensemble coach
The NH Fiddle Ensemble is a group of acoustic musicians with expertise in a variety of string instruments including guitars, mandolins, banjos, and basses. Around 100 musicians of all ages and backgrounds come together to produce a high-quality show. The NH Fiddle Ensemble performs this well-attended concert in multiple locations each year with roaring applause, people dancing in their seats, and a good time had by all. It’s a fun, entertaining, feel-good show you don’t want to miss. Join us on April 4 (doors 6:30 / concert 7:00).
"This isn’t just a bunch of fiddle tunes. It’s not like a spring recital. You will hear expert yodeling and watch young fiddlers rip up a tune while hula-hooping. It’s crazy fun, and you will feel just plain happy after watching them!" —Melissa Caron, NH Fiddle Ensemble Coach
