Due to growing concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S., the New Hampshire Chidren's Trust and the NH Fiddle Ensemble have decided to postpone the Kittery, ME show until June 20th for the safety of the performers, audience, and staff.
Please see the letter below from Ellen Carlson and Melissa Caron, Main Ensemble Coaches, concerning their response to the recent events:
Thank you for purchasing tickets for the NH Fiddle Ensemble show to benefit the NH Children’s Trust at the Star Theatre in Kittery on Saturday, April 4. Due to the ongoing challenge of responding to the Coronavirus, all three organizations have agreed that we will postpone this concert to Saturday, June 20 at 7:00 pm.
While efforts to respond to this health challenge are still being worked out across sectors, and as of yet, there is not any definitive course of action, it only seems prudent to postpone the concert. We would not want anyone who were to come to such a concert to later be attributing any subsequent illness to that event. As difficult as this is, prudence is in order at the moment.
We apologize to you for the inconvenience. While we are offering a refund, we hope that we can apply your ticket to the June 20 show or have you donate your ticket cost to the NH Children’s Trust. We are grateful for your understanding. There will be better days and we shall rejoice in them. But for the moment, let’s take care of one another.
Kindly,
Ellen Carlson
