  • UNH class has students crafting for babies, and for credit!

    DURHAM, N.H. - Students in a general social science course at the University of New Hampshire's Thompson School of Applied Science have aligned with the New Hampshire Children's Trust to help prevent shaken-baby syndrome - and they've taken up needles and hooks to do so. Participating in the Trust's  CLICK for Babies campaign to educate new parents about normal infant crying, 27 first-year students in Human Relations 201 are learning to knit and crochet baby caps.

    CONCORD - The voices of children and families reverberated around the state house Thursday.  NH Children's Trust participated in the Children's Mental Health Rally on the NH State House Plaza.  About 100 people, including Governor Hassan, attended this event sponsored by the Children's Behavioral Health Collaborative.

    April 16, 2013 (New York, NY) - Prevent Child Abuse America will turn the "Big Apple" into the "Big Pinwheel" today with a display of more than 5,000 pinwheels - the new national symbol for child abuse prevention - in Times Square to call people to action in support of healthy child development and to mark Child Abuse Prevention Month.
