CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month!
We invite you to take a stand against child abuse this April by helping ensure New Hampshire families and caretakers have the resources they need to provide safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children.
Getting involved is easy—here are six ways:
1. WEAR BLUE
Wear blue on April 3, 2020, to spread awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Share your photos on social media
using the hashtag #WearBlueDayNH
2. GET SOCIAL
Use the hashtag #greatchildhoods during April when discussing Child Abuse Prevention Month in New Hampshire. Share any activities you're doing to help strengthen families and build resilient communities!
Advocate for important family-friendly policies such as funding paid family and medical leave, ensuring access to quality, affordable childcare, increasing the minimum wage, increasing access to home-visiting programs, and supporting and funding the statewide system of family resource centers.
