With help from New Hampshire children and adolescents, New Hampshire Governor Christopher T. Sununu proclaims April 2020, as Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Everyone can help make #greatchildhoods happen, and getting involved is easy—here are six ways:
1. WEAR BLUE
Wear blue on April 3, 2020, to spread awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Share your photos on social media
using the hashtag #WearBlueDayNH
2. GET SOCIAL
Use the hashtag #greatchildhoods during April when discussing Child Abuse Prevention Month in New Hampshire. Share any activities you're doing to help strengthen families and build resilient communities!
3. ADVOCATE
Advocate for important family-friendly policies such as funding paid family and medical leave, ensuring access to quality, affordable childcare, increasing the minimum wage, increasing access to home-visiting programs, and supporting and funding the statewide system of family resource centers.

We will be implementing our Child Abuse Prevention Month social media campaign beginning March 30th!
