Concrete support in times of need is 1 of the 5 protective factors that prevents neglect and helps families thrive. Concrete supports are often described as the “basic necessities” that all families need to support their children, including food, clothing, housing, transportation, child care, and health care.
New Hampshire Children’s Trust (NHCT) is dedicated to strengthening families and preventing crises by providing these essential supports through community-based child and family serving organizations across New Hampshire. NHCT collaborates with family-strengthening agencies and systems to ensure that families receive timely assistance when they need it most.

NHCT’s Economic and Concrete Supports for NH Families program ensures essential resources reach families efficiently across New Hampshire. Through partnerships with Baby2Baby and the National Diaper Bank Network, NHCT actively brings diapers and other basic necessities—including wipes, diaper ointment, shampoo, conditioner, and soap—into the state and distributes them through trusted community-based child and family–serving organizations. By streamlining delivery, strengthening data tracking, and expanding community reach, NHCT provides timely support to families facing economic hardship and rising living costs.
