New Hampshire Children’s Trust Welcomes
Christina Lachance as New President
August 13, 2025
Dear Friends and Community Partners,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Christina Lachance as the President of New Hampshire Children’s Trust, effective immediately.
Christina brings to this role a deep commitment to the well-being of children and families, as well as a proven track record of leadership across early care and education, philanthropy, and public policy. Prior to serving as our Interim Executive Director, Christina held several high-impact roles, including the Director of the New Hampshire Council for Thriving Children, where she supported efforts to build stronger early childhood systems statewide.
She also served as Director of Early Childhood and Family Initiatives at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, where she managed statewide grantmaking and led cross-sector collaborations to improve outcomes for children and families. Christina’s earlier roles with Easterseals, Elliot Health System/VNA, Granite United Way, and Southern NH Services (now Community Action Partnership of Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties) further illustrate her enduring commitment to improving access, opportunity, and outcomes for all families and children across the state.
With expertise in strategic planning, fiscal management, and cross-sector collaboration, Christina is a visionary leader who understands how to strengthen systems and support thriving families. She has already demonstrated these qualities in her time as Interim Executive Director, and we are confident in her ability to lead NH Children’s Trust into its next chapter with purpose and impact.
Please join me and the entire Board in congratulating Christina on this well-deserved appointment. We look forward to the continued momentum and partnership under her leadership as we work together to ensure all New Hampshire children grow up free from abuse and neglect, in safe, stable, and nurturing environments.
With gratitude,

Mark Knights
