Every April, blue pinwheels appear across New Hampshire, bright, spinning symbols of the futures every child deserves. Child Abuse Prevention Month is a statewide call to action, and the New Hampshire Children’s Trust (NHCT) is leading that charge. NHCT is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect statewide, and ensure children grow up in safe, stable, and nurturing environments. The business community has always been one of NHCT’s greatest strengths, and this April, your company has the opportunity to make a visible, lasting difference.

Why Businesses Are Essential Partners

Prevention does not happen in isolation. It takes educators, families, policymakers, healthcare providers, and businesses. When local companies invest in child wellbeing, they send a powerful message: the health of our community is everyone’s responsibility. Corporate partnership with NHCT amplifies prevention efforts and helps sustain programs that keep families strong across all 10 counties of New Hampshire.

How to Partner with NHCT During Prevention Month and Beyond

  1. Host a Pinwheel Garden at your business to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month (NHCT provides all materials).

  2. Participate in “Wear Blue Day” on April 10 and share your involvement with NHCT for social media recognition.

  3. Sponsor Prevention Month and attend our Child Abuse Prevention Month event at the State House Lawn on April 23 (11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.).

  4. Host a Diaper and Hygiene Product Donation Drive in support of NHCT’s Concrete Supports program and support families in need across NH.

  5. Sponsor the Strengthening Families Summit and support NHCT’s annual statewide gathering of practitioners, parent leaders, and advocates working to build resilient families.

  6. Support the Ride for Resilience through a sponsorship of the Ride, an individual rider, or a team in NHCT’s 100-mile charity bicycle ride celebrating community resilience across New Hampshire.

We'd love to work alongside your business to build a stronger, more supportive New Hampshire for children and families.

The businesses that thrive in New Hampshire are those that invest deeply in their communities. This April, let your organization be a bold, visible champion for children and families.
