Career Opportunities
New Hampshire Children's Trust (NHCT) is excited to announce a new Training Specialist position on NHCT's Programs Team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs and Impact, the Training Specialist will be a certified trainer in the Strengthening Families: Bringing the Protective Factors to Life in Your Work and the 24:7 Dad® curricula, as well as other evidence-based models. The Training Specialist will work closely with NHCT program managers to deliver training curricula to community-based parents, caregivers, and direct service professionals across the state, and support the development of training schedules, presentation & training materials, and program logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Delivery:
• Complete certification as a trainer for the Strengthening Families: Bringing the Protective Factors to Life in Your Work, 24:7 Dad®, and other relevant selected curricula.
• Facilitate in person and virtual curriculum workshops for community-based parents, caregivers, and direct service professionals across the state, ensuring fidelity to the evidence-based design of the curricula.
• Deliver workshops during evenings and occasional weekends to accommodate participants' schedules. (Example: Trainer may be working with multiple twelve-week cohorts simultaneously of which one cohort meets during a weeknight, another cohort meets on a weekend morning, and the remaining cohorts meet during normal business hours.)
Collaboration and Outreach:
• Work closely with partner organization staff to support participant recruitment and ensure high enrollment and attendance in workshops.
• Partner with internal NHCT staff to contribute to ongoing training evaluation and improvement efforts.
COMPETENCIES
• Experience providing training and/or technical assistance for technical platforms (in person, by phone, or online).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in both ad-hoc and formal team environments to support positive outcomes.
• Independence, project management, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail for precise and accurate work.

Preferred Competencies
• Familiarity with the non-profit sector, child welfare field, and NH family serving organizations.
• Comfortable with use of database platforms.
• Content expertise in child development, family strengthening, and support services.
