The New Hampshire Children’s Trust recently held the 5th Annual Ride for Resilience on September 12th, bringing together cyclists, volunteers, and community partners to raise awareness about the importance of strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect.
The Ride for Resilience 100-mile charity ride highlighted the importance of resilience and community support, with riders traveling a route that connected TLC Family Resource Center in both Claremont and Lebanon, and Waypoint’s Upper Valley Family Resource Center in Lebanon. Along the way, participants and volunteers celebrated resilience in the community, to raise awareness of the role that family strengthening organizations play in providing care, resources, and connection for families across the Granite State. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and donors, this year’s Ride has already raised over $50,000. The nine riders are continuing their fundraising efforts, with donations open through October 10.
“This Ride is about more than miles on a bike, it’s about showing that when communities come together, we can lift up families and ensure every child in New Hampshire has the chance to thrive. The Ride for Resilience is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we all stand together for children.” — Mark Knights, Ride for Resilience Founder and NH Children’s Trust Board Chair
The New Hampshire Children’s Trust extends its gratitude to the riders, volunteers, sponsors, and partner organizations who made this year’s Ride for Resilience a success. Together, we continue the mission of building resilient families and communities where all children can thrive.
Everyone plays a role in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
