NH Gives 2026: A Day That Showed What New Hampshire Is Made Of

Every year, New Hampshire Gives reminds us of something we already know — this state takes care of its own.

On June 9th, NHCT President Christina Lachance and Communications Manager Carroll joined WMUR to represent New Hampshire Children's Trust during NH Gives 2026, the state's largest single day of giving. It was an opportunity to share our mission with a broader audience and shine a light on the families and communities we serve every day across the Granite State.

Governor Kelly Ayotte echoed what so many of us feel, encouraging Granite Staters to rally behind the nonprofits that make New Hampshire's quality of life possible. "Just know that there are others that need our help," Ayotte said. "There are others out there that our nonprofits are serving so every person in New Hampshire can enjoy our quality of life."

Now in its 11th year, NH Gives has raised approximately $22 million for nearly 1,200 nonprofit organizations — a testament to the generosity and community spirit that defines this state.

For NHCT, every dollar raised through NH Gives supports our work to build safe, stable, and nurturing environments where children can thrive and families can grow strong. It funds programs, partnerships, and prevention efforts that reach every corner of New Hampshire.

To everyone who donated, shared, and showed up for NH's children and families — thank you. You are proof that when communities come together, incredible things happen.
