The New Hampshire Children’s Trust is proud to announce the recipients of its 19th
Annual Unsung Hero Awards, honoring extraordinary parents, caregivers, and guardians
from across the Granite State. Presented in March in recognition of February’s Parent
Leadership Month, the Unsung Hero Awards celebrate individuals whose everyday
actions create safe, nurturing, and supportive environments where children can thrive.
In partnership with Governor Ayotte’s Office, New Hampshire Children’s Trust recognizes
parents and caregivers who exemplify resilience, compassion, and dedication to their
families and communities. These Unsung Heroes demonstrate how the Strengthening
Families™ Protective Factors help reduce stress, build well-being, and support families
through life’s challenges, reminding us that parenting can be a deeply rewarding and a
meaningful journey.
Since 2008, New Hampshire Children’s Trust has honored remarkable parents, caregivers,
and guardians from every corner of the state. This longstanding tradition, held at the
Governor’s Council Chambers at the New Hampshire State House, highlights the vital role
families play in preventing child abuse and neglect and building strong, connected
communities.
Throughout the month of February, Unsung Heroes will be celebrated with weekly
spotlights on social media. Follow New Hampshire Children’s Trust on Instagram,
their recognition.
This year’s Heroes were nominated by child and family strengthening organizations and
community partners throughout the state. New Hampshire’s statewide network of child
and family strengthening organizations and community partners works to help keep
families safe, strong, and successful by providing critical supports and connections.
